HAITI CONTRIBUTIONS AND DONATIONS

More than 130 of Hollywood's biggest stars came together Friday (January 22) for MTV's "Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief" telethon.

There are many ways viewers can contribute to the telethon — and now those contributions can be tax-deductible. Shortly before the telethon,

President Obama signed into law HR 4462, which allows taxpayers to accelerate the income-tax benefits for certain charitable cash contributions made before March 1, 2010, for the relief of victims of the earthquake in Haiti.

Donations can be made online at HopeForHaitiNow.org, over the phone by calling (877) 99-HAITI, by texting the word "GIVE" to 50555 or by mail addressed to Hope for Haiti Now Fund, Entertainment Industry Foundation, 1201 West 5th St., Suite T-700, Los Angeles, CA, 90017.

Learn more about what you can do to help with earthquake-relief efforts in Haiti, and for more information, see Think MTV. Visit HopeForHaitiNow.org or call (877) 99-HAITI to make a donation now.

Let's join together to help Haiti Prime Bay Funding is about 100% giving back to the community and assisting Haiti victims the best way possible. Please submit donations to AMERICAN RED CROSS.
